Color Palette Redesign for JIRA
I have undertaken a comprehensive redesign of the colour palette for JIRA, focusing on accessibility and enhanced user experience.
The goal was to ensure the new colours are not only visually appealing but also accessible to all users, adhering to the WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) standards.
Design Goals
- Accessibility: All text content colours have been selected to meet AA compliance, which guarantees readability for users with visual impairments.
- Consistency: Graphic elements have been harmonized to achieve AA compliance, ensuring a cohesive visual experience.
- Improved User Experience: By adhering to these guidelines, the new palette promotes inclusivity and usability, making JIRA more user-friendly and effective for diverse teams.
