Camp & Travel Explorer - App Design
Hey Uxcel Community,
Most travel apps focus on destinations.
This one focuses on the experience.
Camp & Travel Explorer is a real client project where I reimagined how users discover, plan, and enjoy outdoor trips-through a simple, intuitive interface backed by real UX decisions.
This case study shows the full journey behind the design.

The project makes a strong first impression. The warm, cohesive amber palette creates a clear outdoor-travel mood and stays consistent across 55+ screens, which is a real achievement at this scale. Showing the UX process (personas, user story, journey map) adds credibility to design decisions.
The amber palette is distinctive, but it's worth checking contrast of lighter shades against white text. It may not pass WCAG AA. 🤔
Ubuntu typography is legible with a well-structured hierarchy. The registration and booking flows show thoughtful step-by-step logic, though some copy needs polish ("Ho, no Forget your password!", "Search for your camping" sounds unnatural).
Component states (hover, error, disabled, loading) are missing from the style guide. Understandable at this stage (it is detail), but worth adding. The "Split the Camp" screen is a clever feature that sets the project apart.
This is a solid foundation with a clear visual identity. Refining the details - contrast, copy, component states will elevate it to a truly professional level. The direction is right, keep going! 💪😊❤️
