Accessible Signup Form for Monkey Survey
The following redesign demonstrates how I improved the accessibility of the Survey Monkey signup experience for mobile users.
- Redesigned the Survey Monkey signup experience to improve accessibility for mobile users.
- Added an easy-to-find accessibility toggle that allows users to switch seamlessly from the original interface to the improved accessible version.
- Improved the color palette contrast to comply with WCAG AA–AAA accessibility standards, helping users with low vision better distinguish content and interface elements on screen.
- Increased the size of typography, buttons, and input fields to create a more touch-friendly and user-friendly mobile experience.
- Created a fully interactive prototype so users can explore and test the redesigned experience firsthand.

I like the decision to focus on accessibility, it's a good portfolio topic. Increasing typography, button, and input field sizes is a good move, and the improved contrast on the CTA ("Continue with email") is noticeable and aligned with WCAG.
However, I have one core concern about the concept. An accessibility toggle as a separate mode implies that accessibility is optional. While WCAG and inclusive design principles say it should be built in by default. Instead of a switch, it would be better to design one fully accessible interface from the start.
I agree with Mindy, the project needs a broader flow (e.g., next registration steps, validation states, error handling). The alignment between the logo and "Log in" button could also be refined. Small details, but they matter in a portfolio piece.
The foundation is solid and the topic is well chosen. Expand the flow with more screens and show how accessibility works across the entire process. That will significantly elevate this case study. Keep going!
This looks really great! This is definitely an upgrade from the previous version of the screen. My only thing is that I would've liked to see more of the sign up flow and the alignment with the logo and the log in button looks a little off. Awesome work though, really great presentation.
