As a Product Designer you will be responsible for the overall user experience of the Origami Risk platform. Product Designers will elevate organizational focus on both user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) elements of Origami market-driven solutions.

Starting base pay for this role is between $100,000 and $122,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs, training, location, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role will be eligible for a bonus as well as competitive medical, dental, and vision benefits, wellness reimbursement, life insurance, and a 401(k) with company match. We offer vacation and sick leave benefits (under a flexible time off policy in most states).

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with engineering and product on the launching of a design system and ensure adoption.
  • Conducts client research to define workflows and customer journey maps across web and mobile.
  • Leads design reviews with other product team members to ensure consistency and identify opportunity.
  • Helps shape and improve our internal product development process, from story creation and outcome identification through delivery.
  • Creates modular UI patterns – from structural layouts to micro-interactions – for global use across the Origami platform.
  • Works with product managers to design mockups, wireframes, and/or functional prototypes.
  • Ensure ongoing implementation of Design System for all new solutions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree – Design, Human Factors, or another relevant field.
  • 3+ years’ experience in product design, ideally B2B cloud platform-related, web+mobile.
  • Demonstrable expertise at implementing design systems, from concept to delivery.
  • Experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
  • Relevant portfolio of successful examples of design work, storyboards, wireframes, or other deliverables.
