Wireframes keep the concept user-focused
Wireframes are excellent communication tools. They facilitate user feedback, spark conversations with stakeholders, and generate ideas among designers. Conducting user testing during the early wireframing stage allows you to gather honest feedback and identify key pain points, helping shape the product concept before significant resources are invested.[1]
To collect qualitative data, ask open-ended questions. For example, instead of showing a page with actual text and asking if users find it helpful, use placeholder text and ask what kind of content users expect to see there. This approach reveals what feels intuitive to users and helps designers create products that are comfortable and easy to use.
