Step 7: Add visuals
Once the typography is good-to-go, it's time to fine-tune the visuals. As human beings, we seek order and consistency. That's why your first step should be to establish a well-structured style guide — a document containing all the branding and visual style rules.
What does a style guide usually contain? Generally, it consists of branding guidelines (logo usage, typography, color palette, brand principles) and a pattern library that describes basic UI components, including colors, fonts, and page layouts. This tool ensures design consistency and a smooth developer handoff.
