Active zones
The upper-left and center of a page usually get more attention than other areas. The top part also gets more attention than the bottom, which is why we perceive the optical center to be higher than the actual geometric center.[1] The lower-right part gets the least attention, as it requires more conscious effort to concentrate on that area.
When designing a product, be sure to place the most important parts in these active zones. Otherwise, they may be overlooked.
