Ben Weeks

I grew up during the troubles in Ireland in the 1980s. When you have friends who are catholic Irish and others are british protestant you code switch to fit in with each. At one point I got mugged, another time a guy pushed me and I fell on my arm which broke. But I played a lot of soccer and enjoyed the lush landscapes, stone ruins and warrior poet quality of the culture. I'd wanted to be an astronaut in Canada prior. Did an MA in the UK, moved back and became an artist & designer to explore dreams and build new realities.
