Flat illustrations

Made an illustration piece for a friend's wall in the reading area of the house. The idea was to create a thought-provoking visual of the present day phone-addiction pandemic. The idea liberation from the addiction with the help of books, knowledge and intellect seemed apt for the reading area. I went with a monochromatic treatment to make it slightly dystopian. Used diverse looking characters to establish inclusivity, trying to communicate "We are all unique, but still the same."
