The Role

We are seeking a motivated, creative Senior Designer for a full-time, remote position (U.S.-based). You’ll be reporting to the Associate Creative Director. In this role, you’ll work closely with our Creative Directors and broader design team to shape interactive design and digital projects from concept through execution.

You’ll bring strong fundamentals in UI and UX design, visual branding, and digital storytelling, along with excellent communication skills, sound creative instincts, and a collaborative, can-do approach. A solid portfolio and eagerness to continue learning are essential.

Position Overview

What You’ll Be Doing

Design & Production (70%)

  • Collaborates with clients to understand needs and contributes to translating them into clear design solutions
  • Creates design deliverables on interactive projects and digital design projects, providing regular updates and receiving input throughout the process
  • Produces , mockups, style tiles, supporting components, design to developer handoffs, and style guides for client websites with strong attention to detail
  • Presents sections of deliverables clearly and effectively to clients and internal teams, articulating design decisions with support on preparation or context setting as needed
  • Works with Project Management and Engineering teams to support the execution and delivery of digital deliverables, participates in quality assurance testing, and ensures that they support all user-facing needs and goals.

Strategy & User Experience (20%)

  • Along with Strategists and Creative Directors, designs clear user experiences by supporting on sitemaps, wireframes, and prototypes that are informed by user experience best practices, brand and content strategy, and audience needs.
  • Collaborates with the Engineering team to create user-centered experiences that are achievable, accessible, and scalable by asking clarifying questions when technical guidance is needed.
  • Occasionally contributes to strategy deliverables, including workshops, briefs, and user engagement strategies.

Secondary Responsibilities (10%)

  • Contribute to innovation within the design team by streamlining and documenting internal design processes
  • Assist with company marketing materials such as case studies, proposals, and social graphics
  • Models a user-centered design culture across the Wide Eye team and stays current on industry best practices and trends in digital branding, UX, and content strategy

What You Bring

Experience / Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in interactive and digital design
  • Strategic thinker as it relates to websites, digital communications, and user experiences
  • Familiarity with nonprofit organizations and political or advocacy campaigns
  • Experience working in a design agency or client service environment
  • Experience collaborating directly with skilled engineers to build websites
  • Strong working knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Solid foundation in graphic design principles, layout, responsive design, and UI best practices
  • Strong collaboration skills and comfort working cross-functionally
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Bonus Points

  • Familiarity with HTML and CSS
  • Experience with WordPress and CMS driven websites
  • Familiarity with low-code tools such as Framer and Webflow

What We Offer

Salary range: $75,000–$100,000 annually, plus benefits
