SUMMARY:

A leading national media organization is looking to engage a Principal UX Engineer in a 100% remote, full-time (40 hours/week), open-ended contingent role that may also offer an opportunity to transition into a full-time, salaried, staff position.

The Principal UX Engineer will work with cross-functional teams and Product Designers to develop front-end interfaces that engage their customers via websites, native apps and distributed platforms. They will produce high-quality customer experiences that elevate customer satisfaction, trust, and delight; while maintaining usability, accessibility, brand integrity standards.

The purpose of this role is to combine user-centered design expertise with front-end code implementation and apply those skills across multiple products and projects. This ideal candidate excels at advanced CSS3 front-end development, user interface design and translating complex information and process into intuitive interfaces.

The Principal UX Engineer demonstrates proficiency in multiple sub-specialties of UX engineering (front-end coding, CMS, Sprint planning, Agile development, etc.) and is a thought leader on the team and to the organization at large.

COMPENSATION:

We are advertising a weekly pay rate of up to $3500. This weekly rate is equivalent to $175K annually and $87.50/hour, when based on 50 weeks of work.
