Role Overview

Manage the development and deployment of courseware to ensure all new, updated, existing, and tailored/customized courses are seamlessly integrated into all student and administrative systems as required by customer requests and business planning initiatives. Manage and assist the Director of Product Development with overseeing the Product Development pipeline by managing the product backlog and work-in-progress. This role will have an increased emphasis on and oversight of tailored and/or customized course content, although supporting standard course development initiatives may be required at times.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist with the coordination of training content development by collaborating with a variety of stakeholders, including the Operations, Customer Service, Shipping, Training, and Sales teams.
  • Assist with editing, producing, and formatting course materials for students and instructor distribution for tailored or customized courses, and on occasion, standard courses.
  • Utilize high-tech content development tools (ChatGPT, TTS, Bard, etc.) to support the rapidly evolving market demand for professional development training.
  • Adhere to all required internal and external trademark and proprietary material requirements.
  • Oversee the timely distribution of tailored or customized content to instructors, students, and shipping teams via the Educate 360 Learning Management System (LMS), content repositories (SharePoint, etc.), and any other required channels.
  • Track, monitor, and prioritize all custom/tailored product development initiatives and the flow of work using Visual Management tools (Kanban board, Microsoft Project Planner, Miro board, etc.) to ensure timely delivery and accurate status reporting for the entire Product Development Team.
  • Prepare and update reports on current and future tailored/custom events for the leadership teams associated with the various Educate 360 brands.
  • Collaborate with the other members of the Product Development team to ensure consistency in processes/documentation and quality is maintained across all standard, tailored, and custom courses.
  • Support the execution of special projects related to product strategy and development, which may require research and presentation development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Organizational Management, Learning & Development, Project Management, or Business Management.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management System (LMS) software and functionality (e.g., Thought Industries, Moodle, Thinkifc, Udemy, etc.) is preferred.
  • Familiarity or experience using Microsoft Planner, SharePoint, and the other standard M365 applications, along with the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, is preferred.
  • Familiarity or experience using advanced or AI-based technology tools (e.g., ChatGPT, OpenAI, Python, Text-to-Speech, Bard, etc.) is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Good composition skills with experience preparing project status reports and presentations.
