Risepoint assists primarily regional universities in increasing their access and impact by making their academic programs available to students online. Founded in 2007, Risepoint's mission is to expand access to high-quality, affordable, and workforce-relevant education, especially for working and adult students. Risepoint brings single-minded dedication to student success, an integrated set of services, and data-driven performance to our collaboration with university partners.

At Risepoint, we are on a mission to redefine higher education for the modern world. We empower learners and partners by delivering transformative, scalable, and student-centric solutions. As we grow into a tech-enabled higher education services company, we are committed to creating an outstanding digital student journey grounded in care, simplicity, and real outcomes.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Product Manager with 2–3 years of experience in consumer tech or product-led B2B SaaS to help reimagine the student journey. Reporting to the VP of Technology Product Management (Student Journey), you’ll have end-to-end ownership of a critical slice of the student experience. This role offers the opportunity to shape meaningful outcomes for students and counselors, gain visibility with senior leadership, and grow quickly as a product leader.

From day one, you’ll move fast, learn directly from real users, and see the impact of your work. You won’t be buried in bureaucracy—you’ll be hands-on, collaborating with design, engineering, and operations to ship student-facing features that matter.

What You’ll Do

  • Own a defined slice of the student journey: shape problems, test ideas, and ship features that students will feel immediately.
  • Translate insights from research, interviews, and data into clear priorities, user stories, and specs.
  • Partner with Design and Engineering to turn manual workflows into intuitive, digital-first experiences.
  • Coordinate closely with cross-functional partners (Student Success, Marketing, Operations, and external vendors) to ensure alignment, resolve blockers, and deliver on time.
  • Drive project management for your area: set timelines, run stand-ups, track dependencies, and keep stakeholders updated on progress.
  • Define success metrics, run experiments, analyze results, and iterate quickly.
  • Support the productization of processes, turning repeatable workflows into scalable, technology-enabled solutions.
  • Advocate for clarity, inclusivity, and efficiency in every student interaction.

What You Bring

  • 2–3 years of experience in product management or adjacent roles in consumer tech or product-led B2B SaaS.
  • Evidence of shipping features or end-to-end experiences that made an impact.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with product analytics, experimentation, and iteration.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to align design, engineering, and stakeholders under changing constraints.
  • A student-first mindset, passion for transforming education, and eagerness to learn how AI can unlock better outcomes.
  • Bonus: exposure to higher education, service-oriented journeys, or AI-enabled workflows.

Why Join Us

At Risepoint, your work won’t get lost in layers of hierarchy—you’ll own real product outcomes, work directly with senior leaders, and grow faster than you would at a large company. Every feature you ship will directly improve the student journey. If you’re hungry to learn, ready to make an impact, and excited to help transform education, this is the role you’ve been waiting for.
