Summary
Like many others in creative fields last year, a layoff meant that I could no longer work at my dream job. I decided to chase another passion of mine that I have been unintentionally doing for years: game writing.
After an intensive video game writing course earlier this year, I realized my path forward would channel my creative and professional efforts and culminate in something not only fun for me but fun for others. Now, I'm aiming to bring the world crafted for a tabletop game into the video game sphere via my latest project Vault Keeper Studios and am currently working towards developing some interactive fiction games that allows game masters and players to immerse themselves into a world they can then explore at their own table.
How does this all tie in to UX/UI? Well, I want to design my own game assets, landing site, and other custom assets, and I want to learn the best practices and foundations that would lead to a measure of success!
