Summary
Hello! I am Curtis - a British social documentary photographer, educator, and emerging UX designer, with a focus on human-centred storytelling across both visual and digital mediums.
Driven by themes of empowerment, representation, and emotional honesty, my portrait-led photography work explores identity, belonging, vulnerability, and the human experience. My creative approach is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and a deep curiosity for how people connect with the world around me.
My photography work has been featured in British Journal of Photography’s Portrait of Britain and Portrait of Humanity awards, exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery, and published in The Guardian and The Times. Now based in Berlin, I am is continuing to evolve my visual language while bridging my storytelling practice into design — creating meaningful, user-led experiences.
