Richard, your "Bounties" feature is fantastic for gamifying the Twitter (now X) experience and boosting user engagement. It's a creative way to incentivize participation and reward users' contributions.
I recommend adding more details to your product feature brief to make your feature presentation even more compelling.
This article on product features is a great resource to guide you: https://www.aha.io/roadmapping/guide/requirements-management/what-are-product-features.
Consider addressing the following questions in your brief:
- How will this feature contribute to Twitter's goals and initiatives? Explain how Bounties aligns with Twitter's overall objectives, such as increasing user engagement, time spent on the platform, or content creation.
- What challenges will this feature solve for? Identify the specific user pain points or needs that Bounties addresses. For example, does it aim to combat declining user activity or provide a more rewarding experience for active users?
- What capabilities or user experiences need to be designed and built to deliver this feature? Outline the technical requirements and user interface elements necessary to implement Bounties successfully. This could include point systems, badge displays, task lists, and progress tracking.
- Which customer segments or personas will be served by this feature? Define the target audience for Bounties. Are you focusing on casual users, power users, content creators, or specific demographics? Understanding your audience will help tailor the feature to their preferences.
In addition to the feature brief, I have a few suggestions for the UI design:
1. "Boogie Man" Profile:
The UI element at the top of the Bounty list on the "Boogie Man" profile resembles a draggable area of a Bottom Sheet, which could confuse users. Consider removing or redesigning this element to avoid any misunderstanding.
2. Bottom Sheet Animation:
The animation associated with the Bottom Sheet UI element could be improved. Bottom Sheets typically slide up from the bottom of the screen (without occupying the entire screen) when opened and slide down when closed. Ensure the smooth animation aligns with user expectations for this UI pattern. https://www.nngroup.com/articles/bottom-sheet/
3. "Join the Hunt" Button:
The "Join the Hunt" button should be visible when users enter the Bounty detail screen. This ensures that users can immediately understand the action they must take to participate in the Bounty.
Keep up the great work, and happy designing! ✌️
Hi Richard,
I wanted to give you some feedback on your "Bounties" concept. Overall, I find it very creative and exciting – you’ve done an excellent job!🤩 The designs are impressive and well thought out.
However, I feel that the sheets are a bit distracting. Perhaps another solution could be found for them. Additionally, I’d suggest improving the hierarchy with the text.
Despite these points, the entire concept fits together well, from the name to the various features. It’s really well thought out, and I’m looking forward to seeing its further development. Keep up the great work!
Best regards
