I have designed a responsive landing page for an animal shelter called Pets2Keep, showing the desktop and mobile views.

Design Rationale:

My approach was to create a warm, friendly, and inviting landing page with colors, images, and typography that reflect that feeling while being accessible.

I decided to use the 1440 x 1024 desktop version as it is a common size and a good middle ground for small and large desktop screens. I chose the iPhone 16 Pro for mobile, since it is the latest Apple device available and is also a good compromise for both smaller and larger mobile screens.

The navigation is sticky, so when the user scrolls down, the nav bar slides down and sticks, while the links anchor the user to specific sections on the page (see the video prototype).
