How you will impact the organization…

The Senior UI/UX Designer is a crucial, high-impact role responsible for establishing the entire design function, process, and aesthetic direction across Consensus Cloud Solutions' product portfolio. This is a foundational role where the designer will operate as the sole design expert, leading strategy and executing hands-on design across multiple product teams. This role requires a leader who can deliver immediate design improvements while building the groundwork for long-term design scalability and product consistency. While not a people manager, this individual will be the definitive voice for design standards and user experience best practices within the organization.

  • Design Strategy & Audit: Conduct a comprehensive product portfolio audit to assess current usability, user experience, and aesthetic quality. Present clear, data-driven recommendations for prioritized design improvements and a plan to execute them iteratively.
  • Component Library & System Establishment: Research, recommend, and initiate the development of a company-wide, scalable component library and design system to ensure product consistency.
  • Process Leadership: Define and implement the end-to-end design request, review, and feedback process to efficiently integrate design work into product development workflows.
  • Hands-on Design & Prototyping: Execute the full design lifecycle by creating detailed wireframes, low-fidelity, and high-fidelity prototypes for new features and product overhauls.
  • Accessibility Compliance: Champion and enforce design standards focused on accessibility (e.g., WCAG), actively driving product designs toward formal certification.
  • UX & Engagement: Proactively design, measure, and iterate on product features to drive user adoption, increase engagement metrics, and improve overall product satisfaction.
  • Vision Communication: Present, articulate, and defend design concepts, user research findings, and the strategic vision to technical teams, product leadership, and executive stakeholders.
  • A/B Testing Support: Design and prepare necessary design variations and assets required to support and measure experiments via A/B testing tools (e.g., Optimizely).
  • New: Market & Competitive Analysis: Stay current on the latest UI/UX design trends, technology shifts, and competitive product offerings to ensure Consensus products maintain a market-leading position in user experience.
  • Tooling Recommendation: Research and recommend essential design and collaboration software (e.g., Balsamiq, Figma, Miro, etc.) to optimize the design and product workflow.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineering leads to translate business requirements into user-centered design solutions.
  • Communicate information effectively through polished written documentation, status reports, and oral presentations for diverse technical and non-technical audiences
  • Present design concepts and strategies clearly and persuasively to executive stakeholders, development teams, and broader audiences.
  • Cultivate a collaborative environment and foster cooperative relationships across all cross-functional groups.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for the newly established design system and UX principles.
  • Actively participate in the product roadmap definition, advising on design and user impact.
  • Support Product Managers in user research.

What you will bring to the table…

  • Relevant certifications in UX, Interaction Design, or Accessibility (e.g., CPACC, CSQA, Nielsen Norman Group certifications).
  • 5+ years of professional experience in a hands-on UI/UX design role, designing complex B2B or enterprise software.
  • 3+ years of experience as the lead or sole contributor responsible for directing the design program (strategy, processes, and execution) for a major product or portfolio.
  • Expert-level proficiency in modern design, prototyping and software development tools (Figma, Jira, Gemini).
  • Proven experience conducting comprehensive product audits and translating findings into a design strategy and roadmap.
  • Extensive experience creating wireframes, user flows, low-fidelity, and high-fidelity prototypes across multiple platforms. including web and mobile experiences
  • Experience designing for and advising on quantitative user testing methodologies (e.g., A/B testing, multivariate testing).
  • Thorough understanding of UI/UX design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
  • Deep knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices for compliance.
  • Exceptional ability to work independently, manage a high volume of work, and drive strategic initiatives without direct supervision.
  • Mastery of communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with internal and customer audiences, including the ability to articulate design rationale, manage feedback, and influence decision-making.

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Design, HCI (Human-Computer Interaction), or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in UX, Interaction Design, or Accessibility (e.g., CPACC, CSQA, Nielsen Norman Group certifications).
  • Healthcare design experience is preferred.
  • Experience in highly-regulated industries such as healthcare or finance.
  • Experience with visual collaboration tools like Miro.
  • Portfolio demonstrating success in simplifying complex business processes through design.

  • Location requirements: Fully remote within the U.S.
  • Travel requirements: Up to 10% travel.
  • Physical requirements: Must be able to sit for long periods, as well as, handle long periods of screen time.
  • Technology requirements: Reliable, high speed internet.

The salary range for this role is $115,000 - $122,500 annually. The total compensation package for this position is negotiable and may also include annual performance bonus, ESPP, enhanced time off packages and benefits.
