Add notes for introduction and debrief

Add notes to your guide about what you should cover during the introduction and debrief session.

At the beginning, remember to introduce yourself and let the participant know what to expect during the interview. Give them a chance to ask questions. Most people have not been interviewed before, so take some time to put them at ease. It's a good idea to verbally double-check that participants understand what they agreed to in the consent form.

At the end of an interview, thank the participant for their time and explain what happens next with the information they’ve provided you. Give the participant a chance to ask any questions about the research. If you are paying a participant for participating in your study, ensure you share details of how they will be paid and when they can expect payment. Leave your contact details with them in case they have any follow-up thoughts they want to share with you.
