Static format

Static format

If you’re trying to create a calm and balanced composition, look to the static format. It doesn’t force movement of users’ eyes, allowing more natural eye tracking movement.

Static compositions use shapes that are balanced (often symmetrically) and don’t give the impression of movement.[1] Consider them more like a resting state compared to the active state of a dynamic composition.
