However, yellow is not always seen as positive. "Yellow-bellied" describes cowardice, and "yellow journalism" refers to exaggerated, sensationalist reporting. Despite these negative meanings, yellow remains a color associated with happiness and optimism, closely linked to sunlight and summer.
