Alysha O'Hara Griesemer

I am passionate about UX research, human-centered products, design-thinking, and behavioral psychology. Currently, I am leading the user research and usability studies for a fertility app for Android and IOS. Recently, I designed a website for an entrepreneur who provides soil regenerative services to farmers by using compost and organic alternatives to fertilizers to improve soil quality and protect agricultural land. I am an alum of Venture for America’s entrepreneurial fellowship which selects less than 12% of applicants to become fellows and promotes economic opportunity in American cities by equipping the next generation of entrepreneurs. As a fellow, I was exposed to design-thinking challenges and product development competitions, including one that was conducted by IDEO. I have conducted user research and developed product solutions such as the creation of a social app to connect non-drinkers, a professional network to advance the careers of underrepresented communities, and an app to improve public transportation in Detroit.
