UX Research Survey: Meal Delivery App Users 1

UX Research Survey: Meal Delivery App Users 2

UX Research Survey: Meal Delivery App Users 3

Brief Explanation: Rationale Behind the Survey Design

The goal of this survey is to understand the preferences, behaviors, and pain points of users who use or might use a meal delivery mobile app. This includes insights into food preferences, delivery frequency, pricing sensitivity, app usability expectations, and common frustrations. The survey is crafted with concise, unbiased, and non-leading questions to ensure genuine responses.

By identifying patterns and user needs in the local context, this survey supports product decisions around feature prioritization, UX improvements, and market positioning relative to competitors like Foodpanda, Cheetay, and Deliveroo (regionally relevant competitors).

Competitor Insights (Summary of Market Research)

- Foodpanda leads in Pakistan with strong brand recognition but faces issues with late deliveries and limited customer support.

- Cheetay offers unique services like grocery and pharma delivery alongside meals, but has limited reach.

- Deliveroo and Uber Eats operate in more developed markets with sleek UI, live tracking, and curated restaurant partners.

- There’s a market gap in localized UX, transparent delivery times, and rewards for loyal users.

Great work on this, Maham! I enjoyed reading your project brief and understanding the rationale behind your work.

I might suggest giving the subjects of your survey context before they begin- an introductory sentence or statement at the beginning of your survey will improve trust in your work, and reduce people responding outside of your demographic.

I would also suggest working on localizing this survey. Screener questions that ensure that participants are within your demographic, such as being from Pakistan or users of a certain product, would ensure the results are specific to the product you are working on.
