Heuristic analysis
I chose Calendbook for my heuristic analysis because I would really like to have my first internship there. Since it’s a small start-up, I think a heuristic analysis could be useful for them. Calendbook is a website where users need to complete tasks quickly, and when it’s used often, even small usability problems can make users feel frustrated. This analysis gives the company helpful feedback to make the product easier to use. Each problem is linked to a heuristic and offers a simple suggestion on how to fix it. This can help Calendbook make small changes that create a smoother experience for users. It also shows I understand their product and can apply what I’ve learned so far.
I have always worked in restaurants and now I am learning to become an UX designer all alone with only my computer and a dining table that I use as an "office', so a small start up company would be a good choice to make my first introduction to heuristic evaluations for.
