As a Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience for restaurant professionals, ensuring that our products not only look great but also solve real-world problems. This role is ideal for designers looking to take their skills to the next level in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

How you'll add value:

    • Design Impactful Experiences: Lead design efforts on small to medium-sized projects, creating thoughtful visual design, interaction design, and high-fidelity prototypes that enhance the user journey.
    • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to bring your designs to life, ensuring alignment with product goals and business objectives.
    • Participate in Design Reviews: Present your work to team members and stakeholders, incorporating feedback to iterate and improve designs, always with an eye toward the user’s needs.
    • Contribute to User-Centered Solutions: Utilize user research, feedback, and data analysis to ensure your designs solve real pain points and elevate the overall product experience.
    • Enhance Design Consistency: Maintain and contribute to Restaurant365’s design system to ensure cohesive user experiences across all platform components.
    • Other duties as assigned.

What you'll need to be successful in this role:

    • 3+ years of professional experience in product design, UX/UI, or a related field, with a strong portfolio that demonstrates your problem-solving and user-focused design skills.
    • A keen interest in creating intuitive, user-friendly designs that tackle complex problems with creativity and precision.
    • Strong expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite, with the ability to produce high-quality wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
    • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and value the contributions of product managers, engineers, and fellow designers in the design process.
    • A deep understanding of the importance of user research and usability testing, along with the ability to iterate based on feedback and data.
    • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects, shifting priorities as necessary to meet business and user needs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Prior experience designing for SaaS platforms or B2B products, especially in the restaurant or hospitality industries, is highly desirable.
    • In-depth understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices to ensure that designs are functional, elegant, and easy to use.
    • Experience contributing to or maintaining design systems to ensure consistency and efficiency across product lines.
    • Ability to distill complex user needs and business goals into clean, functional, and aesthetically pleasing design solutions.
