We are hiring a Junior User Experience (UX) Designer to join our team. We're looking for someone who can bring fresh ideas and industry insights to help elevate the user experience across our telecommunication products. Experience working on global consumer software-as-a-service (SaaS) products is an advantage.

What you will be doing:

  • Produce digital artifacts (design or content assets, drafts, and prototypes) with guidance (i.e. with explicit instructions or replicating existing work)
  • Contribute to design projects from concept to completion
  • Participate in cross-functional discussions and ideation sessions to help the team formulate design-driven decisions
  • Maintain concise documentation, including progress updates and design rationale
  • Participate in design workshops on visual design, information architecture, usability, and functionality
  • Contribute to design activities, including design hand-offs, to deliver software that satisfy business needs

As part of our distributed team, you are expected to:

  • Maintain a dedicated workspace and the necessary infrastructure to work effectively in a remote setup
  • Manage your schedule and daily commitments independently, with at least 4 hours of overlap with the rest of the team
  • Use a stable, high-quality internet connection for video conferencing, with access to a backup connection in case of outages
  • Be available for video calls during established working hours
  • Be able to travel to our offices for on-site work, for periods of up to 2 weeks at a time

Who you are:

  • At least 2 years of experience in UX design roles, preferably in a global consumer SaaS company
  • Can create User Interface (UI) designs and user flows using Figma
  • Can actively participate in the UX and UI design process and contribute to the design system
  • Is motivated to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to understand problems and co-create solutions
  • Can visualize abstract concepts and articulate how they would behave in a dynamic, interactive system over time
  • Can explain design concepts clearly in both business and user-centric terms, and help others understand design principles
  • Experience implementing UI designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a strong advantage
