Hi! I'm Malycia, a UX designer with experience in web development and project management :)

My career journey started back in 2018, when I started homeschooling and decided to learn HTML and CSS for fun on Khan Academy. Making small webpages started as a hobby, but after a few months I realized that I was truly interested in working in the tech field. I noticed that I preferred designing the look and feel of websites to actually coding them, so when I found the field of web and UX design during my research I knew I had found my calling 🙂

Right now, I'm focused on growing my portfolio and finding the right team for me. I'm looking for a small to medium-sized company (no FAANG) where I can learn from a diverse group of designers and contribute to a product that makes a positive impact on people in marginalized communities. My dream is to work on something that's truly human-centered, like an app you use every day, and bring my vibrant, collaborative energy to a new challenge ✨
