Color System for a Productivity Tool
I am doing a color system redesign for Atlassian’s JIRA - a productivity tool that focuses mainly on helping IT teams organize tasks and log work time.
What I would like to achieve with the new color palette is to make the seemingly process of logging tasks more engaging by adding colors that may inspire an element of surprise or achievement, while keeping the professional and trustworthy image.

I really appreciate the effort you put into redesigning the color system for Jira. I found your reasoning for the color choices very compelling, but when I saw the simple wireframe demonstrating the application of the new colors, it seemed too colorful and harsh on the eyes. Jira typically uses a more monotonous color palette for a reason - staring at a computer screen all day can strain the eyes and too many colors can be overstimulating. It would be helpful to see more examples of how the colors would be applied to the system, or perhaps consider using a less bright color palette.
