I am Salvatore Barras, an award-winning product designer deeply entrenched in the South African technology sector with over a decade of commercial experience.

With over 10 years of experience, my focus has always been on creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces. My UI designs have been recognized by popular local media outlets like News24, Ventureburn, and Entrepreneur Magazine, among others, and have earned accolades such as the MTN App of the Year People's Choice Award and Hackernoon's Johannesburg Startup of the Year.

Currently, I lead product design at E-Centive & Ignite, where I’ve transformed their platforms with a full-scale redesign—driving innovation in marketing incentives, gamification, and user engagement within the South African telco space.

My passion lies in transforming complex concepts into user-friendly interfaces, enhancing digital interactions one pixel at a time.
