My name is Anthony Otero. I'm a multidisciplinary designer from Joplin, Missouri. I have a BA in graphic design and experience in UI, branding & identity, layout, photography, illustration, motion graphics, and video.
I believe all design is communication, which means the message must be understood and memorable. The best designs are efficient, pleasing, and accessible for everyone, and are best developed through experimentation and collaboration. This pushes me to improve skills, work diligently, and most of all, be original. I begin by listening to needs and researching to produce visually compelling solutions. Every project is an opportunity to improve and encourage virtue in the world.
Outside of design, my interests include music, books & podcasts, gardening, cooking, travel, and time with family. Friends call me Tony, and I prefer that you do too. And my last name – it's pronounced oh-TARE-oh.
