Entertainment Platform

The purpose of the project was to develop a typography system for entertainment landing page.

I went with showcase for the timeless products of Dieter Rams. Project highlights the Braun TP-7, a minimalist, portable radio that represents Rams’ famous design principles of simplicity and functionality. Landing page reflects the clean and thoughtful aesthetic that’s core to Rams’ design philosophy.

Typeface

The typeface I chose is Aeonik, a geometric sans serif that matches the modern, minimalist aesthetic of the Braun TP-7. It’s a versatile typeface, combining a clean look with a subtle warmth. Its precise shapes and balanced forms allow for clear hierarchy.

Type Scale

I developed a 5-level typography hierarchy to create clear visual structure throughout the page. These levels include:

• H1 (Main Headline)
• H2 (Subheadline)
• H3 (Section Title)
• p1 (Body Text)
• p2 (Smaller Text or Labels)

Each hierarchy level has been fine tuned to provide clear visual distinctions while maintaining a clean look across the landing page.

Type Test

Typeface complements the product’s emphasis on precision and simplicity, reflecting Rams’ design principles of “less, but better.”
