Product Manager - Access Control System (Ona)
Create a profile and we’ll automatically match you with the most relevant job opportunities.
About The Product
We're building a platform that solves a real problem: it allows managing access to dozens of different tools from one place, instead of logging into each service separately to grant permissions.
Right now, if you want to give someone access to your HubSpot, then your Fireflies, then your Slack, you have to go into each platform individually, figure out their specific permission system, and manage everything separately. It's a nightmare when you're dealing with multiple team members, AI agents, and external contractors
The Access Control System (the name is to be defined) will allow managing all these access permissions from one central place. You can give someone specific access (including premium accounts) to multiple tools through our system, control exactly what they can do in each service, and manage everything through a single interface. No more jumping between platforms, no more trying to remember which permissions you gave to whom.
What You'll Do
As a Product Manager, you'll figure out how to turn this technology into a business. You'll work closely with our engineering team to understand what's technically possible, then translate that into something customers actually want to buy. This is a new product category, so you'll be writing the playbook as you go.
- Build Product Strategy from Scratch — Define how we position and sell this technology: embedded SaaS for other platforms, standalone enterprise solution, technology licensing model, or something else.
- Execute Go-to-Market — Find first customers, build sales processes, and determine pricing models for a completely new product category that serves both human teams and AI agents.
- Own Technical Product Vision — Work with engineering on MCP architecture, understand agent-to-agent communication limitations, and translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value for human and AI workflows.
Who You Are
- You have extensive B2B SaaS experience — particularly with technical products that developers integrate into their workflows
- You deeply understand AI agents — you've actually built AI agents, used MCPs, understand tool calls, and their security implications
- You have a technical background — ideally, previous development experience, because you'll be working with cutting-edge protocols and need to understand technical constraints
- You can explain complex tech simply — you'll need to make MCP and agent-to-agent communication understandable to enterprise buyers
- You thrive in ambiguity — you'll need to build a lot, figure things out on the go, experiment constantly, and handle multiple different tasks across various areas simultaneously
