Description
The Junior Content Strategist is a natural problem-solver with excellent communication skills. This person will work collaboratively with a team to create digital experiences that tell compelling stories and achieve results. They will work closely with the Digital Platforms Associate Director and cross-functional teams to define challenges, uncover insights and find opportunities, translating them into actionable strategies and supporting their implementation. This person is not expected to know everything but should be eager to learn.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Translate client goals into actionable strategies
- Help create website information architectures, site maps and content outlines
- Assess content opportunities and recommend strategies that meet client goals and deliver best-in-class user experiences
- Assist in client presentations to create buy-in for recommended solutions
- Evaluate client feedback and recommend refinements to help resolve issues
- Work collaboratively with Digital Designers, Copywriters and Developers to ensure projects are successfully delivered
- Assist in adding, updating and migrating content within content management systems
- Act as a source of industry knowledge with internal and client teams
Communication Skills
- Communicate clearly with Client Engagement Directors, Project Managers and other team members regarding project objectives and deliverables
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to clearly articulate recommendations and how you came to those conclusions
Requirements
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience with marketing in a digital/interactive/mobile/web environment
- Basic understanding of Google Analytics, search engine and conversion optimization, and the website development process
- Self-motivated and eager to learn new things
- Extremely detail-oriented
- Good writing and communication skills
- Ability to research topics with a journalistic eye for detail and accuracy and synthesize complex information
