Course description
Learn the basic UI (user interface) components that every designer and developer uses when creating technology products. UI components come in many shapes, sizes, and levels of complexity, and it's important to master them all. In this introductory course, you'll learn about the essential components, their definitions, and best practices.
With this course, you'll gain knowledge on how to design various styles of buttons, checkboxes, radio buttons, and other selection controls. You'll also learn how to create informative and appealing labels that inspire users to take action. Forms, cards, modals, sliders, and menus are UI components that are present in any interface, and we discuss all aspects of their styles, alignment, and copy.
After completing this course, you'll be able to apply the best practices to design essential UI elements that meet users' needs and expectations. We'll focus on the principles of consistency and familiarity to teach you how to design interfaces that are intuitive and help users accomplish their main goals.
