Uxcel’s professional Product Designer Certification is awarded to individuals who successfully complete one timed exam.
Certification process
Our process is similar for all certification types.
1. Register
After you upgrade, you can start the exam at your convenience. It's recommended to complete the assessments in the first to ensure you're fully prepared for the certification.
2. Timed Exams
Once you start the exam, you'll have 2 hours and 2 attempts to complete each exam before your certification process resets. If you don’t pass the exam in the first 2 attempts, you’ll need to wait 30 days before you can retake it.
3. Congratulations
After you successfully pass the certification exam, you’ll receive your Certification.

The Product Designer Certification is a 2-hour exam where you'll demonstrate your proficiency in core design principles and knowledge. Most candidates typically complete it in 45 minutes. This exam assesses your abilities to:

Here’s what to expect during your certification exam:
- Online and unproctored
- 80 questions
- 2 hour time limit
- 2 attempts to pass, after which there is a 30-day lockout period
- 85% score or higher to pass
